📄 Legal Agreement

Terms of Use

This agreement governs your use of ZazimFind's services. We built on a zero-knowledge architecture, meaning we cannot see or store your data, and these terms reflect that reality.

Version 2.1 Effective: 14 March 2026 ZazimFind Ltd · UK Company No. 17126690

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZazimFind's services, including our website, applications, and APIs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any additional product-specific guidelines. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent before using our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ZazimFind Ltd. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

Accounts & Security

You may create an account by providing accurate, complete information. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised access caused by a failure to maintain account security.

Security requirements: Use a strong, unique password and enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) where available. We strongly encourage this. You must not share credentials or create accounts on behalf of others without explicit authorisation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You must use our services lawfully and ethically. The following activities are expressly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or termination:

  • Illegal, harmful, or abusive use, including fraud, harassment, hate speech, or any content that violates applicable law.
  • Infringing the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract model weights, training data, or proprietary algorithms.
  • Misrepresenting AI-generated output as human authored without disclosure.
  • Automated scraping, data harvesting, or high-volume API access without explicit written permission.
  • Using the service to generate, distribute, or facilitate unlawfully discriminatory, deceptive, or harmful content.
  • Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems or networks.
  • Uploading malware, scripts, or disruptive content designed to interfere with our services.

Content & AI Output

You retain ownership of your input, meaning the queries and content you submit. You own the output you receive to the extent permitted by applicable law. However, because our AI may generate similar outputs for different users, we cannot guarantee exclusivity of any generated content.

AI Output Disclaimer Outputs may not always be accurate, complete, or current. You must not rely on AI output as a sole source of truth or as a substitute for professional advice, whether legal, medical, financial, or otherwise. Always consult qualified experts for high-stakes decisions. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

Our zero-knowledge architecture means we do not store, read, or process your queries beyond the immediate request. No query history is retained on our servers.

Intellectual Property

All service components, including software, AI models, documentation, interfaces, and trademarks, are owned by ZazimFind Ltd or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the services for your own lawful purposes as set out in these Terms.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our proprietary materials. Use of our trademarks or brand assets is subject to our Brand Guidelines. Unauthorised use of our intellectual property will result in immediate termination and may expose you to legal liability.

API Terms

If you access our services via API, you must comply with our API documentation, rate limits, and any applicable developer agreements. Output from the API is subject to the same accuracy disclaimers set out in the Content and AI Output section above. We reserve the right to modify, throttle, or revoke API access in cases of breach or misuse, and may do so without prior notice where a security risk is involved.

Fees & Billing

Where premium services are offered, you agree to pay the fees listed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law, including UK and EU consumer protection regulations. Prices may change with 30 days written notice.

Warranty Disclaimer

Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error free, or free from harmful components. We are not responsible for inaccuracies, delays, or omissions in outputs, or for third-party content or services.

Limitation of Liability

Neither party's total liability under these Terms shall exceed the greater of (a) fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.

GDPR / applicable law

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZazimFind Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your use of the services; your violation of these Terms; your infringement of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or content you submit or generate using the services.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without prior notice if you breach these Terms, misuse our services, or pose a security risk. You may close your account at any time through the account deletion process in your settings. Upon termination, your licence to use the services is revoked. Because we operate a zero-knowledge architecture and do not store your data, there is no user data to delete. Provisions that by their nature survive termination, including intellectual property rights, indemnity, and liability limitations, will continue to apply.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal requirements, new features, or changes in how we operate. Material changes will be communicated by email or prominent in-product notice at least 30 days before they take effect. A version history is maintained at the foot of this page. Your continued use of the services after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence grant jurisdiction to local courts.

For EU residents: nothing in these Terms affects your rights under applicable EU consumer protection legislation, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive and applicable national implementing laws.
